Refresh Survey
In this next phase of CCW Refresh we are focussing on some of the core aspects of our church life. This survey asks a series of questions about our gatherings on a Sunday, our mid-week small groups, and our Families, Children’s and Youth ministry.
The answers you provide here will help myself (Pete), Kenny and Gareth, and the rest of the Leadership Team, to work through the ways we might re-shape and develop church life in future months.
Please do answer honestly, letting us know what you really think and feel. It’s also really helpful if absolutely everyone fills this in. Even if there are areas of the survey you don’t have strong feelings about, or questions where you don’t think you have much to say, we still want to hear from you.
The aim of the survey is to facilitate good communication as part of healthy, godly conversations about the future of our church. If this were simply a way of getting us all to fill out a wish list, we’d be setting ourselves up for frustration given our diverse church family, and we’d be in danger of missing the point when it comes to following and serving Christ together. But this survey is an opportunity for us all to consider things we’ve not considered before, and in some ways to re-visit our priorities much as we have been doing in the earlier phase of Refresh.
Therefore, the survey will work best if we each approach it giving prayerful thought to what is best for our whole church family, always keeping in mind how we can move forward together in pursuing our mission to Know God, Reach Others and Build the Church.
I expect the whole survey to take around 30 - 40 minutes, depending how much you write! We’ve split it into three sections, so you can do one section at a time if that’s easier. Whilst the survey can be completed in any order, I’d recommend the order below as it flows better that way. It would be helpful if you typed your name exactly the same way at the start of each section.
